Proactive — Automated Hierarchical CERTs: A complete solution to secure national cyber resources

Cyber attacks are increasing day by day and need to handle incidents happening in Cyber space is becoming the highest priority for a Nation. The Cyber attacks are not only targeting computers for financial gain but the attacks leverage from small computing device like mobile phone to a very large scale systems like Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems. The paper proposes a model called Proactive, Automated Hierarchical CERT to fight against the Cyber attacks and secure National Cyber Resources. The paper discusses current methods to handle and respond to a Cyber incident and its limitations. It further discusses advantages of proposed model.
