A new dynamic electricity purchasing strategy for Load Serving Entity

摘要

To maximize the profits and minimize the risks, the Load Serving Entity (LSE) should properly allocate the amount of electricity purchased in various markets. The purchasing process is dynamic and repeated. A new dynamic model is proposed for purchasing electricity in multiple markets by quantizing the risk and expected revenue rate of the LSE employing the semi-absolute deviation. An average reverse model is employed for load forecasting. Case studies are used to demonstrate the feasibility and efficiency of the developed model and method.
