Comprehensive evaluation of the ecological environment in Guizhou based on RS and GIS

Aim at the situation of ecological environment quality of Guizhou province decreased year by year, it was tried using remote sensing (RS), geographic information system (GIS) advanced technology and modern mathematical methods for some positive exploration and improvement. First it was constructed that the comprehensive evaluation system of the ecological environment quality, then according to the multi-source spatial information, in support of GIS and RS, the digital environment was built, finally the multi-indexes were integrated into a comprehensive evaluation index with the method of principal component analysis, the Guizhou ecological environment quality was comprehensively and quantitatively evaluated in provincial scale, it was generated that the distribution map of the ecological environment condition index of Guizhou province, to provide the scientific basis for Guizhou to develop strategies for sustainable development of ecological environment.
