Quantitative risk assessment of crude oil terminal pool fires in dike area with domino effect method

摘要

Domino effects on oil terminal pool fire were analysed using representative crude oil terminal. This assessment consisted of seven key steps: identifying the initial accidents; computing the consequences of the initial accidents; constructing a damage probability matrix between pairs of tanks for domino effect; ranking resulting from the domino effect; correcting the initial accident probability for the domino effect and calculating the individual risk and safe distance.
