Design and application of fabric anti-icing performance test system

摘要

The object of this work is to test a fabric's anti-icing performance using a special system, which is composed of a fabric fixing device and a water supply device. Firstly, the special fabric fixing device is designed to simulate the fireman's protective clothing, which is a portable device with angle adjustment function and buffering function. Secondly, the special water supply device is designed to simulate reflective water from a barrier, whose water flow rate could reach 8 L/min and the nozzle's adjustment is accurate. Thirdly, a simulated test is carried out using the special fabric fixing device and special water supply device. The results with high repetitiveness prove this fabric anti-icing performance test system is very effective.
