Passive detecting system at 360GHz

摘要

The theories of thermal radiation of nature and operation principle of passive detecting were briefly introduced. Then, a passive detecting system of 360 GHz was designed based on the principles of a microwave passive detecting system. A prototype was developed following the design of key components including antennas and a harmonic mixer. Tests and measurements were taken, which showed that the design was feasible and the performance of the prototype system met design requirements.
