Carrier frequency offset estimation of utilizing Subcarrier Residual Power for OFDM systems over time-varying multipath fading channel

摘要

In this paper, the method of utilizing Subcarrier Residual Power (SRP) is proposed to estimate Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO) for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems by using training sequence. The training sequence is composed of non-zero pilots and zero pilots. And SRP of training sequence is adopted to estimate CFO over time-varying multipath fading channel in frequency-domain. A low-complexity method utilized SRP is proposed, too. Simulation results show that the proposed methods are workable in existent systems and keep good performance.
