Sand production in oil wells prediction method based on data mining technology

In sandstone reservoirs, after a long period of oil production, sand production increases with high water cut. Oil well sand production prediction model is established based on data mining technology by selecting the mode of knowledge and determination of data mining algorithms. The model was verified in combination with practical production data of oil field the results shows that data mining technology can find meaningful information in the large amount of data. Comparing the results with actual data of sand production, data mining technology can provide auxiliary decision support to prediction of sand production and similar problems, as a new way of thinking to problems that is traditionally difficult to be solved.
