Combined economic effects of mass customization and operation chain

摘要

Mass customization is an operation chain mode that is different from the traditional low-cost mass operation mode and the low-cost and differentiated operation mode. And according to the differences in the points of customization, this paper classifies mass operation into three levels, i.e., general, medium and high mass customization. Thanks to the advantages of the operation chain alliance in specialization, low transaction cost and resource sharing among member enterprises, this innovative path of mass customization is able to combine the traditional low-cost mass operation mode with the differentiated operation mode, and accordingly, to achieve composite economic effects benefiting from the integration of internal economies of scale with economies of scope.
