摘要

Not only does the traffic incident endanger the safety of vehicles and pedestrians, it also puts down road capacity and vehicle speed, affecting city's economic construction and the operation-efficiency of social development. Therefore, it is of great importance to research the impact of traffic incidents. The establishment of traffic flow simulation model to analyze the evolution process would contribute to the understanding of the traits and evolution law of traffic flow under the incident conditions, which lays the theoretical basis for the traffic incident guidance. Previous studies mainly focused on the two-lane area. However, with the transportation development and the growing number of the multi-lane roads, three-lane cellular automaton has more practical significance. Based on the traditional two-lane cellular automaton model, this paper proposes a three-lane model for traffic incident which is applied for incident simulation. The results show that the model performs well on the simulation.
