Measurement and analysis of acoustic environment of universities in Beijing

摘要

The acoustic environment of 12 universities which are located between different ring roads of Beijing was measured. The measures include the noise level of roads close to the universities, the noise level of representative area of the campuses and the noise level and its spectrum of the teaching buildings. The results of 12 universities were compared to each other together with the national standards. The noise level of most universities cannot meet the standard. The differences of the acoustic environments between 12 universities are due to not only the noise of the traffic roads, but also the sound insulation solutions. The suggestions to improve the acoustic environment are provided in the end.
