Genetic Algorithms (GA) are stochastic search methods that mimic the metaphor of natural biological evolution. In recent years, as a kind of non-classical math's method, GA is used in more and more fields. It has become an active branch of Artificial Intelligence. And parameter (including frequency, amplitude, and phase) extraction for sine wave signals is an important part of signal processing. This paper introduces GA to extract parameters of sine wave signals. The simulation results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the method.
