Ammonia is one of the most produced chemical products in the world. These days, it is focused on as one of the most probable candidates for hydrogen carriers to accomplish hydrogen energy based society. Present ammonia synthesis method, Haber-Bosch method, is operated at high temperature and high pressure (723-773 K, 20 MPa) because of the restriction of kinetics. However, ammonia synthesis for hydrogen carrier is anticipated to proceed at milder conditions with a small-scale plant.
