Tuning of acidic properties of the AEI-type zeolite and its catalytic performance

Among small pore zeolites, the AEI-type zeolite has a similar structure to the CHA-type and it also showed a high activity in the Methanol to Olefins (MTO) reaction. However, AEI-type zeolite with a low acid amount (Si/Al > 10) has not been synthesized directly, and deactivation occur quickly. Therefore, in this work, the synthesis of high-silica AEI-type zeolites was investigated by incorporating B and Ga into the framework.
