摘要

It has been well known that NOx emission from diesel engines is a serious concern to the environment which is responsible for the acid rain and photochemical smog. Y2O3 modified with Ba and NiO was proved to have a high activity on NO decomposition reaction. In the previous study, selective NOx reduction on Pd-NiO/ (Y_(0.99)Ba_(0.01))2 O3 catalyst was studied. In this study, reaction mechanism on this catalyst was studied by using in-situ FT-IR and it became clear that HCN is an important intermediate.
