摘要

A novel dual-broadband dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is presented. Based on the modified Sierpinski gasket constructed though two iterations, the proposed antenna display both dual band and wideband features. The measured impedance bandwidths for S <; -10dB are 2.25-2.60GHz (14.46%) and 3.10-4.10GHz (27.78%) respectively, which can cover the wireless local area network (WLAN, 2.4-2.484GHz) and the worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX, 3.4-3.69GHz) bands. Meanwhile stable radiation patterns and gains of around 5.0dBi and 3.8dBi at 2.4GHz and 3.5GHz respectively have been observed.
