In magnesium and its alloys, twin boundaries are not stable [1]. Twin grains can grow and shrink easily during cyclic deformation. Controlling the mobility of twin boundary has significant effects on the damping capacity [2] and strength [3] in Mg alloys. However, there is a lack of systematic research about the mobility of twin boundary in Mg alloys. In our research, we studied the effect of annealing on the mobility of twin boundaries in Mg and its alloys.
