Research advances of grassland fire spread modeling and numerical simulation

摘要

The grassland fire spread models and grassland fire simulation can predict the occurrence and development of fire, and provide a scientific basis for decisionmaking to control grassland fires. This paper describes the mechanism of grassland fire and the influencing factors of fire spread. Through analyzing and comparing the existing grassland fire spread models, the scope of application of the models was presented. Two kinds of common grassland fire spread simulation software were briefly introduced and the future development direction was pointed out.
