Study on the path of low-carbon eco-city construction in Guangzhou in post-crisis era

The idea of low emissions, low energy consumption and the harmonious development between human beings and nature proposed by low-carbon economy and low-carbon eco-city is of very important in post-crisis era. Being one of the largest cities in China, Guangzhou has always been taking a responsible attitude and responding positively to national initiatives to reduce carbon emissions. However, industrialization, higher energy structure, and huge population have determined that Guangzhou has a long way to realize the target of low-carbon eco-city.
