Here we investigated the predictive value of blood pressure (BP) on clinicaloutcome in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). We recorded patients'clinical information and BP on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th, and 14th days. Wedivided the patients into five groups according to the BP on 1st day. A total of682 patients were recruited. The BP in the acute stage of ICH decreasedautomatically and stably in the hypotensive agents group. The patient mortalityrates among the five groups were significantly different (χ~2 = 74.073, p < 0.001),and the lowest rate was seen in Group II (140 mmHg < systolic BP < 159 mrnHg).The prognosis was serious in patients with a very high or low BP in the acutestage of ICH.
