New rotors configurations in the rubber continuous mixer

摘要

The modular dual-rotor was designed tor the Rubber continuous mixer in this paper. It was composed of various components with different configurations, such as meshing components, shear components, large screw lead components and tooth components,etc. The type and location of structural components can be changed according to the mixing performance. A lot of rubber continuous mixing experiments had been done using the formula of tread compound and three rotor configurations in the rubber continuous mixer. The best of the rotor structure and combination had been found by the comparison analysis of experimental results.
