摘要

A magnetically-levitated superconducting coil using ReBCO tape conductors has been developed for upgrading the Mini-RT device at the Univ. of Tokyo. The performance of the new coil was examined at NIFS using a GM cryocooler prior to the installation of the coil in the Mini-RT vacuum vessel. The coil was cooled by circulating helium gas in pipes attached on the coil frame. The coil current has achieved the rated value of 100 A at temperature 36-41 K and the persistent current mode was successfully obtained.
