摘要

Separation and capture of CO2 from flue gas and other sources have attracted global attention for greenhouse gas emission control. CO2 is believed to be the most important greenhouse gas, accounting for about 60% greenhouse gas effects. While membrane technology for CO2 separation is considered to be an option, the current generation of gas separation membranes is not permselective enough to compete with other processes for commercial applications. The utilization of reactive carriers to facilitate the transport of CO2 in membranes offer an attractive means to attain a high permeation rate selectivity. In this work., carboxymethyl chitosan (CMCS)/ poly ethylenimine (PEI) blend membranes were prepared for the facilitated transport of CO2.
