Ferritic stainless steel (FSS) has wide potential applications in some special areas due to it preservingmagnetism and good stress corrosion cracking resistance. It is recommended that addition of micro-alloyingelements and its effects on solidification microstructure as well as microstructure evolution during thethermal-mechanical processing determine the performance of FSS. This work is attempt to clarify the effectsof precipitation and initial solidification microstructure on the micro-texture evolution during rolling andannealing processes.
