High-entropy alloys are new structural material class with attractivemechanical properties in wide field of applications. Recently one of the investigated systemsis based on elements with high melting temperature such as Ti, Nb, Zr, Ta, Hf, W, Mo, V.Especially, a body-centered cubic TiNbZrTaHf refractory high-entropy alloy which issingle-phase microstructure at room temperature exhibits high yield strength and considerableductility. In pure bcc metals, [111] is considered the only slip direction corresponding tothe slip planes of {211} and {110} in most cases. However, the observed slip planes usuallydeviate from the predicted slip plane, as represented as a ψ(χ) curve. The slip system anddeformation mechanism have not known so far in bcc high-entropy alloys.
