Managing heat transfer at thermoelectric materials is a major challenge for researchers. Thephysical and chemical properties that control thermal and electrical transport at interfacesbetween dissimilar materials are poorly understood. A deeper knowledge of how these propertiesimpact thermal and electrical conductivity could leadto an increased figure of merit in thermoelectricmaterials. The mechanism of formation of twodifferent types of connections insemiconductor-insulator nano composites as capillarynetwork connection and spot network connectionwere discussed and electrical and thermal transport properties were compared.
