Sixty years of microwave innovation, transformation, and call for globalization

In this paper, we will start by reviewing innovation and key milestones in the development of the microwave technology, followed by transformation in the playing field, and the final section discusses reasons for an urgent call for global competence in the preparation of future microwave engineering workforce.
