Quality of Service and Access Control Management for Batch Rekeying in Secure Multicast

摘要

Group rekeying in secure multicast poses a scalability problem which can be solved by batch processing of join and disjoin requests. Batch processing, however, results in a loss of quality of service in the join case and in a loss of access control in the disjoin case. In this paper, we present an approach for batch rekeying which keeps these losses of quality of service and access control within system-specific limits.
