Networked control systems (NCSs) have been receiving much attention in the field of remote control robot, tele-sugery and numerous industrial applications. In the NCSs, all data in communication network need to be quantized since they are transmitted over a limited network channel. This paper addresses optimal quantization and input for quantized state feedback control system with dynamic quantizer. In the system, both input and a parameter of the quantizer are optimized on-line with the help of model predictive control (MFC). In our approach, constraints on input/output, the parameter of quantizer and other physical limitations can be explicitly considered while guaranteeing optimality. Simulation and experimental results of an unstable plant are demonstrated In order to verify the effectiveness of proposed method.
