Optilink developed a rewritable Holographic Memory Card system for high-density and security data storage. In high capacity holographic memories using large two dimensional data pages the realization of pixel matching needs several mechanical controlling systems to eliminate the errors resulting from the magnification, translation, distortion, tilt and rotation of the reconstructed image on the detector array. Using the software servomechanism of Optilink can eliminate these mechanical servo systems that are required for the realization of pixel matching. The software servo system reduces also the mechanical and optical manufacturing requirements.
