Application of Fuzzy AHP-TOPSIS Method for Software Package Selection

Selection the true software packages is very important for the growth or failure of any manufacturing or service company. There are a lot of influencing factors in the choosing of software for firm and to solve this problem was used multi-criteria decision making problem. In this paper, for choosing best software two methods- Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods is utilized. Using AHP technique in software choosing we determine weights of the selected factors. Then, TOPSIS method is utilized to determine rating of the alternatives'. Finally, a software prototype for presenting both method's is implemented.
