In this paper, we are focusing on the evaluation of an first order isothermal reaction rate in uncertain environment. The dependence between reaction rate and concentration of substance is analyzed. By using Fuzzy c-means clustering method, a set of rules is extracted from data. By determining and applying fuzzy clusters, a corresponding fuzzy inference system is designed and applied in the approximate reasoning of chemical reactions. By using fuzzy C-means approach fuzzy IF...THEN rule is constructed, which describes the relation between the reaction rate and decomposition of substance.
