Study on calculation method of incident wave power of irregular wave for wave energy conversion model systems

When calculating the conversion efficiency of wave energy conversion model systems, the calculation method of incident wave power is very important, especially the calculation method of irregular incident wave power. After analyzing and comparing the five most commonly used calculation methods at home and abroad, An incident wave power calculation method with the parameters of effective wave height and spectral peak period in laboratory wave simulation is established based on the ITTC method and combining the empirical formula, which is applied to the actual testing work and has achieved good application results.
