Periodic Sequence of Femtosecond Pulses with Preselected Carrier Envelope Offset Phase

The method is proposed for creating femtosecond radiation without an offset of the frequency comb in the absence of a local oscillator laser with selecting a pulse train with a given carrier envelope offset phase using an intensity modulator and a phase shifter.
