This paper evaluates the designing and analysis of EMG system for measuring upper limb muscle strength. Muscle strength is a maximal effort is an amount of force that a muscle can produce. There are many kinds and types of EMG system and devices that are design but either it is big, hard to install and set up or the cost are expensive. These disadvantages will lead to problem such as neglecting the use of device and may cause to failure in muscle changes detection. Therefore, this study is done to design a portable, user friendly and simple EMG system device. Using a simple circuit to create an EMG system and by using a reference EMG system the data was filtered and the final result outcome are compared to identify the validity of the designed EMG.
