In this study, chitosan and polyglutamic acid were used as raw materials to prepare hemostatic dressings from the perspectives of chemistry and bionics. The mucopolysaccharide component of the chitosan bionic extracellular matrix is molecularly modified to increase its water solubility. The water-absorbing property, cell compatibility and biocompatibility of the collagen component of the polyglutamic acid bionic extracellular matrix are ideal, and a chitosan/polyglutamic acid-based bionic dressing is designed for the network scaffold, and physical and chemical properties and biological safety of the bionic dressing were characterized. The results show that the dressing is superior to commercial products in terms of swelling, degradation, coagulation, cell compatibility and biocompatibility, and is a competitive product in the field of hemostasis in the future.
