Synthetic and non-synthetic opioids, is quite effective in alleviating pain for medical use. However, some people take drugs for euphoria which results in drug addiction. Overdosing opioids may cause severe health problems. Besides, drug addicts are not able to be qualified in the jobs which require precision labor skills, sensitive trust. They cannot deal with the security relationships with clients and customers, either. Further, health care costs of those addicted elder people and assisted living facility staffing will be influenced. Under this circumstance, we are provided with several drug report data sets of each county of five states (Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, and Pennsylvania). In our paper, first we formulate Drug Epidemic Model (DEM) of five states (Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania) and each county in these five states, based on the SIS epidemic model and time series model, and explore the prevalence of heroin and synthetic opioids.
