摘要

This article explores the mathematical formulation of non-Newtonian fluid flow through an asymmetric tapered stenotic artery in the presence of catheter. Impact of the wall flexibility and pulsatile pressure is also considered. The governed model is solved by using the finite difference method. Effects of the various geo-metric parameters and the flow parameters are observed on the volumetric flow and velocity components. Further impact on physiological parameter, impedance is also estimated. This model is of significant importance in the pharmaceutical industry and also in medical field.
