Development of analytical methods and data management systems for exploration stage geometallurgical characterisation

Early stage access to metallurgically relevant data is beneficial for framing the scope of process selection studies and ensuring ore-body knowledge anticipates and informs engineering studies. Whilst conventional approaches to exploration-stage drill core characterisation are focused on increasing and defining ore reserves, acquisition to more diverse and disparate data provides opportunity to improve understanding of both the geological provenance of the ore and factors affecting its economic exploitation.
