摘要

Vertebral distortion is one of the most common diseases in children and adolescents. Measurement of spinal distortion involves the tracking of spinal curvature. When testing the vertebral distortion by the "Moshkov's quadrangle" from the standing position with the dermatographic pencil, the points of the spines of the vertebrae C7 and L5 and the lower medial corners of the blades are noted. In the presence of spinal distortion the symmetry of the quadrangle is distorted to varying degrees. In the presented mathematical model, geometric parameters of Moshkov's quadrangle are introduced to allow a quantitative assessment of the degree of spinal distortion in children and adults.
