摘要

The steady state studies of fluorescence quenching of excitation energy of heterocyclic compound namely 2-isopropylphenyl boronic acid (2IPBA) by aniline quencher was carried out in 1,4-dioxane (DX), toluene (TL), methanol (ML), heptane (HP), nonane (NN), butanol (BL), and propanol (PL) solvents with a view to understand the role of diffusion in the quenching mechanism. The quenching process is studied in the selected solvents using steady state method by linear S-V plots.
