摘要

Excitation Magnetic Impulse Wave(EMIW) is a new physical phenomenon discovered in experiments, which was produced in the impact of two homopolar magnetic fields. In this paper pilot study is carried out to explore its physical essence, moreover, effective excitation and receiving device are successfully designed in experiments, at last we realize the primary analyses and study on its velocity, the characteristic of the induced electromagnetic, and propagation characteristic in medium. The results show that EMIW is extremely suitable to apply to the fields of information communication and object detection, so it is most essential to make time on the EMIW research.
