Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a high efficient multi-carrier modulation technique for the new generation cellular networks, which is sensitive to frequency offset. In this paper, we focus on the performances of anti-frequency offset in the time shifted non-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (TS-NFDM) and OFDM systems. Using the method of "equivalent noise power", the theoretical analysis indicates that TS-NFDM is with better performance than OFDM if frequency offsets are the same, and the simulation results of the bit error rate (BER) are presented to verify the higher anti-frequency offset capability of TS-NFDM.
