In order to quantify the dynamic interaction in wind-storage virtual synchronous generator (VSG) integrated system, this paper proposes a dynamic index based on damping torque analysis. Firstly, the dynamic model of wind-storage VSG is built, including the permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG), the energy storage unit, converters and the control systems, and the state-space model and transfer function are derived. Then, by combining the state-space model of multi-machine power system, the dynamic interaction model between the wind-storage VSG and multi-machine power system with the power and voltage as the transmission channel is established. Next, theoretical derivation of the dynamic index is presented by utilizing the transfer function between angular frequency and voltage. Finally, the modified 4-machine 2-area system with 2 wind-storage VSGs is used as test system to verify the effectiveness of the index proposed, and the simulation results demonstrate that the index could quantify the dynamic interaction in wind-storage VSGs integrated system and be used for the parameter optimization of wind-storage VSG.
