Micro fibrillated cellulose (MFC) is a unique material displaying complex behaviour during processing. In this talk we will demonstrate how this complexity is a hidden opportunity to create new unit operations. We will discuss novel screening (particle-particle fractionation) and 3D extrusion printing opportunities based upon its unique rheology.
