In March 2016, Sensata and Quanergy announced strategic partnership: 1. Exclusive partnership for the ground transportation market; 2. Companies to jointly develop, manufacture, and sell component level solid-state LiDAR sensors; 3. Quanergy to lead technology development including perception software; 4. Sensata to design for manufacture, make, and sell to ground transportation customers; 5. Sensata investment in Quanergy and on board of directors.
