In this study aims to provide a comparison of rainfall plans using methods that are commonly used with Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) method. To conduct a design rain analysis often uses rain data outside the study area. In the last decade, theory has been developed to find design rain in a watershed that does not have a rain register station. This theory also needs to be studied more deeply and compared with the other theories that have been commonly used. The TRMM (Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission) method is a method that carries various sensors to detect atmospheric objects and phenomena and is designed to monitor and assess rain in the tropics. The main instruments in TRMM rainfall are TRMM Microwave Imager (TMI), The Precipitation Radar (PR), and the Visible and Infrared Radiometer System (VIRS). The result of the analysis can be concluded that in the rain plan with re-time under 50 years did not happen big difference. Whereas in the rain plan over 50 years there is a big difference.
