摘要

The critical condition for thermal runaway has been identified for the 3D thermal abuse model. The negative-electrolyte reaction has strongest correlation with thermal runaway. The runaway delay time most sensitively depends on the positive-electrolyte reaction. The power dissipation in the non-intercalating region of the electrodes dominates heat release when system approaches steady.
