This paper presents a methodology for state estimation of electrical distribution networks based on the sequential solving of the estimation process through the Least Weighted Least Squares (WLS) method. The objective is to improve the efficacy of the process with the reduction of the weighted error between the measured and real values by replacing, after one execution of the estimator, the measured values with the greatest errors by the respective estimated values. Then, a new execution is performed until the difference between the weighted errors of two consecutive iterations is smaller than a established tolerance. Tests with a know system from literature is presented to assess the proposed approach.
