The kinetic of sorption of scandium and main impurities (iron, titanium, zirconium, aluminum and thorium) from hydrolysis sulfuric acid from titanium dioxide production by phosphorus-containing ampholyte Tulsion CH93 was investigated. The experiment was carrying out by a limited-volume method, and it established that the limiting stage of sorption of all elements by the ion exchanger is diffusion inside the grain. The diffusion coefficients for each element is calculated, and for scandium it was 1.45 · 10~(-9) cm~2 s~(-1). The experimental data obtained by the interruption method confirm the gel kinetics of elements sorption.
